Oh now I get it... I never understood why you slow down, I thought the doghouse was just a decoration... Good art and world, I see potential in it, so keep at it! The first jump must be more forgiving, It seems impossible without glitching out and getting stuck on the side of the wall (I don't think that's intended). I see a 5/5 game here somewhere, given another 2-3 weeks of development.

Yes, you said everything right. It's probably not very obvious that you can jump on trees. I will change it soon and make an update. Maybe the first level will be easier with one mid-boss and few minions on the way.

Cool project! I don't know anything about the development process or goals, but here's my input.
Cons: Keyboard controls are way too slippery, item pickup radius is too small, lack of monster alert sounds is noticeable, levels have too much backtracking even for Doom standards.
Pros: Captures the essence of the original, can be even scary sometimes, lost souls are terrifying, secrets are well placed, color palette is pleasant, game does not outstay its welcome, and the part where I used my chaingun as a light source notches the score up by 0.5

Liked the music, reminded me of high school.

I really liked this one. Short, but nice experience, and a lovely color scheme. I especially liked the credits scene. I wonder how much time it took to make.

By the way, here's a hint for the Warcraft 3 medal: it's something with the sheep.

I have around 100 different version of the game, roughly 5-10 per day
